The questions everyone asks
Does painting over mould actually work?
Not with ordinary emulsion — it seals living spores that keep growing and bleed back through. MOLDSHOCK is a high-coverage coating formulated for exactly this job: it binds the discoloured surface and covers it in two light coats. It is a renovation coating, not a treatment for the underlying damp.
Do I need to clean or prime the wall first?
No. Shake the can for two minutes, spray from 20–25 cm, let it dry for about half an hour and apply a second light coat if needed. No mould killer, no primer, no brush.
How far does one can go?
About 1.5 m² with two coats — a typical ceiling corner or the strip above a window. For a whole wall the 4.5 l tub covers roughly 18 m².
Will the stain come back?
If the moisture that caused it is still there, yes. Find the source first: ventilation, condensation, a leak, cold bridging. MOLDSHOCK restores the surface — it does not dry out a wall.
Is it safe to use indoors?
It is water-based, chlorine-free and low odour. It is still an aerosol: ventilate well while spraying and drying, keep it away from heat and open flames, and follow the label.
What surfaces can I use it on?
Interior plaster, concrete, sand-lime brick, woodchip wallpaper, mineral paint, sound existing paint and plasterboard. White only.

What it does — and what it does not
Honest about the cause
MOLDSHOCK is a decorative coating for surface renovation. It restores the appearance of affected walls and ceilings. It does not fix the cause: persistent damp should be assessed properly and the source of moisture dealt with before you paint.
